Bayer Fertilizers is planning to set up a fertilizer formulations unit at its existing fertilizer unit in Panesmal Taluk in Barwani district in Madhya Pradesh. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 26.9 million. Raw materials to be used are UREA , D.A.P. , M.O.P , S.S.P. in different proportion. The capacity of the mixing unit will be 40,000 MT / year.

National Fertilizers to revamp its fertilizer unit at Vijaipur Guna in Madhya Pradesh. The revampment will come at a cost of Rs.8940 million to produce 1192620 mt of ammonia and 2006130 mt of urea. The company also plans to set up a carbon dioxide plant. Land required for the project is around 506 hectares.

Suman Phosphate & Chemicals Ltd plans a chemical and fertilizer unit at Matarala in Panesmal Tehsil in Barwani district of Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up of 1000 TPD of Single super Phosphate and 250 TPD of Sulphuric Acid with an investment of Rs. 498.3 million. The project also involves setting up of a 2.5 MW captive power generation unit to use waste heat generated from manufacturing sulphuric acid.

Shree Vinayak Fertilisers sets up fertilizer unit at Pithampur in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh with an investment of Rs. 22.74 million. The project involves setting up of 90000 Tonnes/Annum Customised fertiliser unit. Land required for the project has been acquired by lease from MPAKVN Indore and power required will be around 125 kw which will be from SEB and no captive power plant is planned.
