Indra Industries to implement expansion programme at Dhar

Indra Industries Limited (IIL) is planning to expand its single super phosphate (SSP) plant and set up a zinc phosphate unit at existing plant in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh.The company would increase SSP powder capacity by 75,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) to 120,000 tpa from 45,000 tpa. The project will have facility to convert the entire powder SSP output of 120,000 tpa into granular SSP (GSSP). The project also envisages setting up of zinc sulphate unit with a capacity of 10 tonnes per day.

Fertilizer Corp plans revival of Sindri Fertilizer unit

The Fertilizer Corp of India Ltd is planning to revive its Sindri unit which was closed in 2002. The new plant will have a capacity to produce 3500 mtpd of urea, 2000 mtpd of ammonia and a captive power plant of 25 MW. The required gas of 2.2 mmscmd will be supplied through Kakinada -Haldia- Jagdishpur pipeline from KG Basin. The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 45050 million.

Moni Minerals & Grinders plans fertilizer unit at Meghnagar

Moni Minerals & Grinders is planning to set up a fertilizer unit in Meghnagar in Jhabua district in Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up of manufacturing facilities to produce NPK fertilizer with a capacity of 30,000 mtpa. It will produce the following grades of fertilizer. NPK Grade 1 (20:20:10), NPK Grade 2 (20:20:0) & NPK Grade 3 (12:32:16). The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 26 million.

Suman Phosphate & Chemicals plans fertilizer unit in Panesmal

Suman Phosphate & Chemicals Ltd is planning to invest Rs. 498.3 million to set up a fertilizer unit in Matrala village in Taluk Panesmal in Barwani district in Madhya Pradesh. The project involves setting up of a manufacturing unit to produce 1000 TPD of Single Super Phosphate and 250 TPD of Sulphuric Acid. Land required for the project is around 19 acres which is available.
