Makhteshim-Agan, an Israel-based company has commenced its enivronment friendly pesticide unit operations in Andhra Pradesh on Monday. It will manufacture diverse, environmentally friendly products, including herbicides, insecticides and fungicides for virtually every conventional crop and non-crop category. It is also setting up a research facility at Pulivendula in Cuddapah district in Andhra Pradesh. The projects will entail investments of around Rs.4500 million.
