GAIL to supply gas for National Fertilizers and Urvarak Videsh

GAIL has signed MoU with 4 fertilizer units to supply natural gas of 4.89 million cu.meters a day. It will supply 0.87 mmscmd natural gas to NFL Bhatinda unit, 0.88 mmscmd gas to Panipat unit, 1.03 mmscmd gas to Nangal unit. It will also supply 2.1 mmscmd gas to Barauni unit of Urvarak Videsh Ltd.

GAIL will source natural gas from NELP blocks, KG basin or from imported LNG. Supply to NFL units will be from Dadri-Bawna-Nangal pipeline while gas supply to Barauni unit is planned from its new pipeline Jagdishpur-Haldia pipeline. It may be noted, currently all the four units are under revival and gas supplies will commence once, the units are revived.
