GSFC plans expansion programme at Sikka

Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals (GSFC) is planning to expand diammonium phosphate (DAP) capacity and imported intermediates logistics facilities at its Sikka complex in Gujarat. The project cost estimated at Rs 9000 million involves setting up of D-train with a capacity to manufacture 1650 tonnes per day (tpd) of DAP or 1870 tpd of NPK complex fertilizers. It also envisages installation of two 10,000 MT storage tanks for ammonia and phosphoric acid and associated facilities. Currently, the Sikka plant has two identical streams (A & B Trains) with a licensed capacity of 3,26,000 tonnes per annum (tpa) and C Train, which was installed in 2002, with a capacity of 3, 96,000 tpa.
